Local Extramural • Professor Cindy Lam Lo-kuen, Dr Emily Tse Tsui-yee and Dr Eric Wan Yuk-fai (Family Medicine and Primary Care, SClinMed) were bestowed the Best Research Award 2021 at the HKCFP Conferment Ceremony for the paper ‘Non-laboratory-based Risk Assessment Model for Case Detection of Diabetes Mellitus and Pre-diabetes in Primary Care’ by the Hong Kong College of Family Physicians in August 2022. • Dr Philip Li Hei (Medicine, SClinMed) and his Vaccine Allergy Safety Team were presented the Outstanding Team Award by the Hospital Authority (Grantham Hospital) in 2022. • Dr Michael To Kai-tsun (Orthopaedics and Traumatology, SClinMed) and his multidisciplinary team (MDT) for patients with osteogenesis imperfecta in HKU-Shenzhen Hospital were named one of the 慶祝香港回歸祖國25周年 – 2022感動香江團體 for their multidisciplinary service for patients with osteogenesis imperfecta. • Professor Kenneth Wong Kak-yuen, Dr Patrick Chung Ho-yu (Surgery, SClinMed) and their HKWC Neonatal Surgical Service Team, QMH, received the HKWC and QMH/TYH Outstanding Team Award 2023. 42
