• The team led by Professor Chu Hin and Professor Yuen Kwok-Yung (Microbiology, SClinMed) was awarded the HKU Research Output Prize 2022-2023 for the paper ‘Attenuated replication and pathogenicity of SARS-CoV-2 B.1.1.529 Omicron’. • Dr Pauline Luk Po-ling (BIMHSE & MEHU) and MBBS students Justin Chan Yik-hin, Lu Ching, and Wu Ling-yee, won 1st Place in the Poster Award in the 6th HKU Teaching and Learning Festival 2024 for their project ‘A Game-Based Approach to Promote Awareness of Healthcare Inequality and Cultivating Empathy’ by the Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre in March 2024. 36
