HKUMed has had a very fulfilling and energetic year for teaching and learning, receiving affirmations of our excellence and opening new pathways for even better things to come. The bar is definitely being lifted higher. Last September, the Medical Council of Hong Kong visited us to conduct a review of the MBBS programme. They gave a glowing assessment and praised our adoption of technological and pedagogical innovations, our Enrichment Year and our collaborations on interprofessional education and practice. These are all works in progress, and we are continuing to refine and adapt the curricula of all our programmes to incorporate new technologies and reflect new priorities. Teaching & Learning 6
