The Real-time Dashboard, produced by the School of Public Health, has been a widely-used reference for helping the public to understand the facts about COVID-19 cases in Hong Kong. It provides basic up-to-date information on the number of cases, hospitalised, discharged and deaths, and much more. For example, it shows the real-time effective reproductive number for Real-time Dashboard local cases, the epidemic curve based on onset and confirmed dates and case classification, and breakdown by ages. The Real-time Dashboard has also been an important tool in media briefings, providing a snapshot of the COVID-19 situation in Hong Kong and the likely trends going forward. 29
