A series of Visiting Professor/Associate Professor Lectures were organised by the Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, School of Clinical Medicine. The Visiting Associate Professor Lecture by Dr Teruhisa Mihata was held on 26 April 2023. Dr Teruhisa Mihata is Associate Professor of Department of Orthopedic Surgery, Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University in Japan. He delivered a lecture entitled ‘Biomechanics and Pathomechanics of Glenohumeral Joint’.

Appointed as the 17th Harry Fang Visiting Professor, Professor Chistophe Mathoulin delivered a lecture on 25 April 2023 entitled ‘From Open to Arthroscopic Treatment for SL Tear. What We Learned from Anatomy Understanding’. Professor Mathoulin is a hand and upper extremity surgeon at Institut de la Main, Clinique Jouvenet in Paris, France.

Professor Mohit Bhandari delivered a lecture entitled ‘Broken Bones and Broken Lives: Identification of Injuries from Domestic Violence’ as the 5th AR Hodgson Visiting Professor Lecture, on 20 April 2023. Professor Bhandari is Chair of Department of Surgery, McMaster University in Canada.

Professor Yong Hai （海涌）, appointed as the 41^st M.B. Lee Visiting Professor, delivered a lecture entitled ‘Surgical Management of Severe and Complex Spinal Deformity: Chaoyang Experiences' on 22 February 2023.

Appointed as the 17th Dr Tam Sai Kit Visiting Professor, Professor Jian Yang delivered a lecture entitled ‘Metabonegenic Orthopedic Biomaterials Design and Applications’ on 16 December 2022.
