Thirty-six teachers, including honorary teachers from other teaching hospitals and private sector, took part in the ‘Retreat for Undergraduate Teaching’ in the morning. Participants discussed the ongoing MBBS Curriculum Reform, reviewed the current teachings and brainstormed new teaching ideas.
In the afternoon, staff members participated in the ‘Retreat for Research’, in which they reviewed the current main research directions, discussed on obstacles faced and suggested possible solutions to overcome various constraints. Participants consolidated goals to strengthen collaborations among scientists and clinicians of the Department in conducting translational research and to foster the interests of members at all ranks in developing their research endeavours.
