March Meeting (MM23) is an annual conference held by the International Federation of Medical Students' Associations (IFMSA). Medical students across the world gathered and discussed global health issues, shared ideas, skills, and experiences on how to improve medical education, promote global exchange, and advocate for public health and human rights.
This year, AMSAHK sent a delegation of 16 medical students to Tallinn, Estonia to attend MM23, where delegates from HKUMed convened with around 1,000 medical students from all over world. The pre-General Assembly workshops invited participants to build capacity on topics including disaster medicine and leadership. At the General Assembly, participants joined workshops for IFMSA's standing committees, the Rex Crossley Awards Gala, and cultural exchange nights.
