The East Asian Medical Students’ Conference (EAMSC) is an annual conference hosted by different cities in East Asia. Members of AMSA gathered to exchange ideas and knowledge on ways to tackle global health issues.Held in Kathmandu, Nepal in January this year, 18 Hong Kong delegates were sent to the East Asian Medical Students’ Conference. Participants listened to delegates from other chapters presented their research, visited local hospitals and medical schools, and also learnt about Nepal’s rich culture and history. During the Conference, students of HKUMed were awarded First Place in the Scientific Poster Competition.
