The 1st HKU-Crick Symposium aimed to provide an opportunity to showcase biomedical research from both the Crick Institute and HKU and to foster collaborative connections between the two institutes. To reach a wider audience, the symposium included speakers from various themes, including infection, immunity, stem cells and cancer. The Symposium was held as a hybrid meeting to ensure HKU researchers who could not attend the event in-person was able to present and participate during the day.
