The annual APELSO course aims to help medical professionals to enrich their knowledge and update the latest developments of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO). It is a major event of this discipline in Hong Kong and divided by lectures and simulations.
In this edition, nearly 50 participants from local and overseas attended the 4-day intensive course. The event was truly educational, informative, interactive and fun. Participants from various background were able to gain valuable hands-on experience treating patients of emergency though simulation workshops.
