To promote academic exchange and nurture researchers, State Key Laboratory of Liver Research (SKLLR) and RGC Theme-based Research Scheme Project on Translations to Enhance Liver Cancer Management jointly co-organised an onsite seminar on 11 September 2023 (Monday).
Dr Klaus H Kaestner (Penn Diabetes Research Center and University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine, USA) was invited as speaker of the Seminar in 2023. He is a world-renowned researcher in the molecular mechanisms of liver organogenesis, regeneration, and cancer. Dr Kaestner shared his cutting-edge findings on ‘Massively Parallel in Vivo Screen Identifies MicroRNAs that Act Synergistically with Combinatorial Immunotherapy for the Treatment of Liver Cancer’. The audience found the SKLLR/ TRS Seminar 2023 a stimulating and fulfilling event.
