The Model WHO conference was launched by the Asian Medical Students' Association Hong Kong (AMAHK) in collaboration with the Hong Kong Society of Community Medicine. The event could not be made possible without the enormous support by Dr Sam Li （李榮森 ） (AMSAHK alumnus), Dr Darwin Mak （麥懷禮） and Dr Edmund Fong （方浩澄）who offered their valuable time to facilitate this event. Medical students who joined the conference as delegates had the chance to represent notable international NGOs, as well as countries from the Western Pacific region of the WHO, to gain insight into how public health policies could be modified and adopted to address global issues on mental health.
