The IFMSA August Meeting 2023 was one of the two General Assemblies held by the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFSMA). The event was held in Delhi, India this year, during which AMSAHK won the ‘Most Innovative Award’ for hosting the online human rights workshop ‘Speak Your Truth’ and also ‘First Place at the Rex-Crossley Awards Gala’ with the ‘Organ Donation Ambassadors Campaign’.
Moreover, Michelle Lam (HKUMed M25) was elected as IFMSA’s Liaison Officer for Medical Education Issues 2023-2024 and AMSAHK had unprecedentedly achieved voting rights at all IFMSA plenaries.
