On 5 December 2020, in response to the fight against COVID-19, the AIDS Institute hosted the Hong Kong Immunology Forum 2020 in collaboration with Hong Kong Society For Immunology (HKSI). Professor Chen Zhiwei (陳志偉), AIDS Institute director and Chairman of HKSI, opened the Forum by welcoming world-renowned guest speakers, HKSI speakers, and the 150 attendees from Hong Kong and regional institutions. Professor David Ho (何大一) of Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center at Columbia University, Professor Yuen Kwok-yung (袁國勇) of Department of Microbiology, HKUMed, Professor Wu Yuzhang (吳玉章) of Institute of Immunology at Chinese Army Medical University and Professor Zhang Linqi (張林琦) of School of Medicine at Tsinghua University delivered exciting lectures on their cutting edge COVID-19 research.
