The Hong Kong Hospital Authority (HA) has signed an agreement with the HKU-Shenzhen Hospital to implement a special support scheme for HA chronic disease patients living in Guangdong Province. The arrangement will enable patients to continue receiving medical consultations in Guangdong during the current COVID-19 situation. The agreement is the first to allow Shenzhen healthcare institutions to handle the medical records of Hong Kong residents.
