HKU Jockey Club Institute of Cancer Care (JCICC) held its first virtual symposium regarding cancer survivorship care on 5 December 2020. The symposium provided a scientific platform for clinicians, nurse specialists and allied health professionals in oncology to discuss and facilitate the development of cancer survivorship care services.
Twelve internationally renowned clinicians and academics from the field of psycho-oncology delivered in-depth lectures on enhancing structured rehabilitation programmes and multi-disciplinary team support for cancer patients. Over 230 healthcare professionals attended the event, which was met with overwhelmingly positive feedback.
