As part of the School of Nursing's mission to provide diversified and holistic nursing education, the School organised a summer programme aimed at secondary schools students hoping to go into nursing. The programme ran via Zoom, started on 30 August 2020 and ran over two and a half days. The promising participants were given the opportunity to interact with current nursing students and teachers, as well as attend interactive lectures on disease management and small group tutorials. In addition to the insights gained into nursing and how it helps patients, students were awarded certificates of completion at the end of the programme.
