The Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy celebrated its 10th anniversary with its Annual Pharmacy Education Symposium, "Celebrating a Decade of Success". The event took place at the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong on 23 April 2021. Highlights of the event included congratulatory messages from Professor Sophia Chan Siu-chee (陳肇始), Secretary for Food and Health at the Food and Health Bureau, HKSAR Government and Professor Gabriel Leung (梁卓偉), Dean of Medicine and Professor Ian Wong Chi-kei (黃志基), Head of Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy. This was followed by lectures from Professor Ijeoma F Uchegbu, Pro-Vice Provost for Africa and The Middle East, Chair in Pharmaceutical Nanoscience, School of Pharmacy, University College London and Dr Esther Chan Wai-yin (陳慧賢), Associate Professor of the Department.
