On 20 February 2021, the Division of Paediatric Surgery, HKUMed and the Division of Paediatric Nephrology, Hong Kong Children's Hospital jointly organised the Symposium on Paediatric Hepato-Renal Diseases. The symposium was held virtually, with over 60 local doctors and nurses in attendance. During the 2-hour symposium, the panel discussed four challenging hepato-renal diseases treated by the two divisions. In addition to being a clinical meeting, this event has served as a vital knowledge-sharing platform for surgeons, physicians, and other medical specialists involved in managing these diseases. The moderators at the Symposium are Dr Patrick Chung Ho-yu (鍾浩宇) (HKUMed); Dr Alison Ma Lap-tak (馬立德) (Hong Kong Children's Hospital).
