The Faculty welcomed Professor Max Shen (申作軍), HKU's new Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Research), and Professor Frederick Leung Koon-shing (梁貫成), the Dean of Graduate School, to HKUMed campus on March 19, 2021. A tour of the Centre for PanorOmic Sciences (CPOS), led by Professor Leung Suet-yi (梁雪兒), Professor George Tsao Sai-wah (曹世華), Dr Stephanie Ma Kwai-yee (馬桂宜) and Dr Agnes Chan Sze-wah (陳思華), highlighted the Faculty's core facilities in Genomics, Proteomics, Metabolomics, and Imaging and Flow Cytometry for Professor Shen. Following the tour a meeting was convened with the Dean and the Research Deanery to discuss the Faculty's research strategy and how it contributes to overall research development at the University.
