On 20 and 21 March 2021, the Asian Medical Students' Association Hong Kong (AMSAHK) hosted MedStart, our annual medical school immersion programme for secondary school students. The event took place online, and this year's theme was "Pandemics in Practice". We welcomed 370+ participants from over 100 schools to explore the courses and student lifestyle for medical students at HKU and CUHK. With virtual tours of both campuses, simulated PBL, AMSAHK alumni sharing panels, and keynote lectures, our aspiring medics experienced the realities of the profession, hopefully taking the first steps of their journeys in medicine. A huge thank you to the faculty members, alumni, and 82 group moderators who generously volunteered their time to help nurture the next generation of doctors!
