Co-organising with the AJR Chapter of the Hong Kong Orthopaedic Association, the HKU Arthroplasty Webinar cum HKOA AJR Chapter 2021 Summer meeting was held on 9 June 2021. More than 90 online participants attended the meeting. We were delighted to have Dr Craig J. Della Valle, the world-renowned adult joint reconstructive surgeon from Rush University Medical Center, USA, as our overseas speaker. In addition, eight local orthopaedic specialists spoke in the webinar. The theme of the webinar focused on outpatient joint arthroplasty and techniques for lateral unicompartmental knee arthroplasty. Additionally, there were four crossfire topics, including local nerve block, tourniquet, drain and systemic steroid.
