The Department of Medicine organised three public lectures, namely ‘Chronic kidney disease – causes, prevention and treatment’, ‘Update on stroke and Parkinson's disease’ and ‘Updates on management of respiratory diseases’ on Youtube on 12 June, 11 September and 23 October 2021 respectively. The Public Lecture Series aim to raise public awareness on the public on medical conditions that are prevalent in Hong Kong and highlight how medical research and novel therapies in Hong Kong have improved patient management. All are well received by the public and the past public lectures could be viewed on YouTube.
