For the second Distinguished Lecture, we were honoured to have Professor Tony Mok Shu-kam (莫樹錦), Chairman and Li Shu Fan Clinical Professor of Clinical Oncology, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, as our orator on 11 October 2021.
Professor Mok delivered an insightful and inspiring lecture titled ‘How to Conduct Transformative Clinical Trials’. Through an engaging talk, Professor Mok chronicled his own personal journey in academic medicine, and shared his pearls of wisdom for young clinician-scientists. The lecture was well attended by ophthalmologists, oncologists and scientists alike. Professor Christopher KS Leung served as session moderator and engaged Professor Mok in a thoughtful discussion following the lecture.
