The School of Public Health hosted an online summer programme entitled ‘Vaccine Passports: Step towards Normality or Inequity?’ for secondary school students worldwide. The programme featured rigorous group activities such as elevator pitch and group presentation competitions. 65 participants from 46 local and overseas schools were grouped into country teams led by expert coaches from the School of Public Health.
The programme exposed participants to current global health problems related to COVID-19 such as vaccine rollouts and vaccine passports. Through working in teams and with our coaches, they gained a deeper understanding of global health, and multiple perspectives to solve global heath and development problems.
