Mr Alfred Sit（薛永恒）, Secretary for Innovation and Technology Bureau (ITB), met with representatives of the State Key Laboratories (SKL) of Emerging Infectious Diseases, Liver Research, and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology, and visited the laboratories at the Laboratory Block and Queen Mary Hospital on 22 June and 7 July respectively. During the visit, Secretary Sit discussed how the ITB can better assist the SKLs’ research work, the development of the new Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop, and invited SKL representatives to submit proposals on facilities and projects for the new technology park.
