30 Mentorship Programme 2^nd Sharing Forum

Riding on the positive response received during the first Sharing Forum, HKUMAA organised another online Sharing Forum on 4 September 2021. Over 100 participants including mentors and mentees, MBBS students and young medical alumni joined the event.

During the first part of the forum, Dr Dacita Suen To-ki shared with us her experience on basic surgery and general training, which provided students and alumni with invaluable insights and guidance. 

The sharing was followed by breakout room sessions for in-depth discussions. Our guest speakers hosted three virtual discussion rooms to talk with participants about their respective sub-specialties.

Dr Dacita Suen To-ki and Dr James Tsu Hok-leung shared their experiences in General Surgery and Urology respectively, while Dr Yan Chun-hoi and Dr Lui Wai-man talked about Orthopaedics & Traumatology and Neurosurgery respectively. Dr Flora Wong Ling-yuen and Dr Randolph Wong Hung-leung discussed with the participants on topics related to Otorhinolaryngology and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
