From 14 to 21 July 2021, members of the Asian Medical Students’ Association Hong Kong (AMSAHK) attended the Asia-Pacific Regional Meeting (APRM) 2021 of the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA).
Medical students from 20 different countries exchanged their unique perspectives on ‘Pandemics in the digital era’. Highlights of the event include webinars led by distinguished World Health Organization speakers, the first APRM Scientific Poster/Research Fair, and more. Annabelle Lim, a representative from HKUMed, stated that she was ‘inspired to hear from many passionate medical students who strongly believed in certain aspects of medicine’. It was hoped that this experience would encourage AMSAHK members to broaden their horizons and pursue their dreams!
