World leading experts in the field of cardiovascular CT from around the globe discussed the current state of cardiovascular CT. Topics included the new American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association Chest Pain Guidelines, role of cardiac CT in asymptomatic patients, practical aspects of reporting and interpreting cardiac CT images as well as improving understanding of cardiac CT reports for clinicians requesting cardiac CTs. There was also a discussion of current and future innovation and research in this rapidly evolving field. The symposium was a successful event and was the first Asia-Pacific symposium ever held by the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. There was a global audience and the talks, debates and discussions received excellent feedback.
