The 27th Medical Research Conference – Innovation in Medicine

The 27th Medical Research Conference (MRC) was held virtually on 15 January 2022. The annual research conference aims at fostering intra-department, inter-department/school and inter-university collaborations in research. Chaired by Professor Walter Seto Wai-kay（司徒偉基）, the theme of MRC this year was ‘Innovation in Medicine’. Two distinguished speakers, Professor Dennis Lo（盧煜明）, Associate Dean (Research) of Faculty of Medicine at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Professor Mak Tak-wah（麥德華）, Professor of Department of Pathology at HKUMed shared their valuable insight during the plenary session ‘From Idea to Innovation’. Over 400 participants, mainly clinicians, research staff and postgraduate students, attended the one-day conference.
