The Combined 60th Anniversary Scientific Meeting and 17th Hong Kong International Orthopaedic Forum was held on 26-28 November 2021. The 3rd HKU International Musculoskeletal Tumour Course was also organised in the event. Continuing our mission to educate the orthopaedic community, the theme of this forum was ‘Orthopaedic Surgery & Musculoskeletal Oncology: Technologies, Innovation & Beyond’. The three-day forum consisted of on-trend lectures, symposiums, and workshops, not only celebrating the diamond jubilee of the Department, but also serving as the platform for knowledge and experience exchange. Over 80 local and international specialists were invited to speak at the forum. The forum was firstly held in a hybrid format, bringing the programme to more than 300 local participants and 800 global audiences online respectively. With the generous support from over 20 industry partners, the event was successfully completed. Furthermore, the 60th Anniversary Gala Dinner was also held on 27 November 2021. Over 150 guests gathered around to celebrate this important milestone of the Department.
