Over 200 alumni and friends came together to have a wonderful dinner on 3 December 2021, the first grand face-to-face event held by HKU Medical Alumni Association (HKUMAA) since the first wave of the COVID-19 outbreak. The evening was filled with joyous remembrance and warm sharing across generations of the HKU medical family and friends. Dr Matthew Tsui (徐錫漢醫生), President of HKUMAA, expressed his warm welcome and gratitude to all guests in his welcoming remarks. Medipella, a group of medical doctors, performed their original song Together written in light of the influence of COVID-19 to cheer every one up. The highlight of the event would be Professor Gabriel Leung (梁卓偉教授), Dean of Medicine, playing a guessing game with guests where winners received exquisite gifts.
