MedStart 2022 is the flagship two-day medical school immersion programme organised by the Asian Medical Students’ Association Hong Kong (AMSAHK), tailored to provide participants with an overview of medicine. Building on this year’s theme of ‘Mental Health Matters’, professors from the Department of Psychiatry were invited to deliver lectures about youth mental health. Interactive practical sessions were designed to create an all-round medical school simulation experience. Alongside academic activities, the Assistant Dean for Admissions also shared the admissions requirements for the MBBS programme. Some senior medical students also talked about their school life. This year, a historic high of 500+ participants joined the programme and the AMSAHK is thankful for all the continuous support.
