‘Say yes to everything’ - this simple yet memorable word of advice has become the main takeaway of the event. In early March 2022, the first Career Talk of the year for HKUMed biomedical sciences students was successfully held online. Having invited a professor from the School of Biomedical Sciences, an alumnus pursuing postgraduate studies in bioinformatics, the Chief Executive Officer from OT&P Healthcare and the Founder of CopperMed Health, much insight has been provided through answering myriads of questions raised alongside the presentations given. It is crucial to try out everything in midst of the vast possibilities bestowed upon biomedical students. By gaining experience and exposure through internships and more, biomedical sciences students will eventually unravel their true passion.
