Around 120 S2 and S3 students from the HKU Taster @ Summer 2022 participated in activities organised by the School of Nursing. They attended a mini-lecture to differentiate between myths and facts about Nursing and to understand more about the nursing programme offered at HKUMed. Students in groups then visited the School’s clinical labs to learn to practise basic first aid skills and to perform CPR. They attended presentations on how simulators could be used in nursing teaching and learning and interacted with these high-fidelity simulators. Many of them were astonished by how vividly these simulators could imitate real-life patients.
