The symposium started on 30 August with a series of keynotes and showcases by prominent speakers, local and overseas, who shared with us their expertise in the state-of-the-art AI technology and interdisciplinary collaborative projects in using big data to improve public health. Approximately 200 people joined the symposium via zoom.
On 31 August, a panel discussion titled ‘Future of Big Data Application for Public Health in Hong Kong’ was held in hybrid form at INNO2@ Science Park. The panel discussion consisted of 10 panellists from academia, industry and government and touched on the ethics and compliance framework and facilitating infrastructure for effective application of big data in Hong Kong. A total of 120 audiences, offline and online, joined this knowledge exchange event.
