A Pinning Ceremony was organised for the Class of 2022, the first batch of Nursing students, to receive their nursing pins at the new HKUMed Academic Building on 3 Sassoon Road – the new home of the School of Nursing. The nursing pin is a symbol of recognition of students’ accomplishments and a resemblance of upholding a high standard of professionalism. These students are ready to embark on a new chapter of life to take on challenges and embrace opportunities. By reciting together the Florence Nightingale Pledge and lighting the candles, students are committed to upholding the ethics and principles of the nursing profession and raising the standards and prestige of practical nursing.
