Sixteen secondary students were shortlisted to join the four-day programme. Over two weekends, the students had a chance to participate in hands-on workshops which included plaster cast application and sawbone fracture fixation. Faculty members also shared their experience on different aspects of orthopaedics, including specialist training, medical missions, surgical procedures, and use of artificial intelligence for medical research.
