The Symposium aims to encourage and facilitate communication among postgraduate students of HKU, CUHK and HKUST. Renowned speakers were invited to be the plenary speakers, namely Professor Liao Maofu (Harvard Medical School) and Professor Kevin Yip Yuk-lap (Sanford Burnham Prebys).
Around 200 researchers and postgraduate students registered for the event which was held virtually. The research postgraduates also participated in poster and oral presentations. The Symposium next year will be hosted by CUHK.
