The symposium was held online at the HKU-SZH with active participation of eight distinguished national and international experts. Professor Esther Oliva from Massachusetts Hospital, Harvard Medical School, USA, Professor Glenn McCluggage from Royal Group of Hospitals Trust, Queen’s University of Belfast, UK and Professor Annie Cheung Nga-yin (張雅賢) from HKUMed, were Standing Member / Expert Panel member of the Editorial board and authors of the recent 5th Edition of WHO Classification of Tumours. They delivered lectures on advances in pathology and application of molecular pathology in tumours of ovary, uterus, fallopian tube and cervix.
Professor Liu Aijun （劉愛軍） from the People's Liberation Army General Hospital and Medical School, Professor Philip Ip Pun-ching (葉品正) from HKU and Dr Richard Wong Wing-cheuk (黃穎卓) from the United Christian Hospital, authors of this recent Classification delivered lectures on the updates on uterine and vulval tumours. Professor Hextan Ngan （顏婉嫦）, world renowned gynaecologist and Dr Tommy Tong （唐舜榮） of the HKU-SZH gave education lectures and discussion on clinical impact of pathology reports. The total views at the live online broadcast room reached a record breaking of more than 78,000 times.
