The Seminar aims to promote academic exchange in liver research and nurture young researchers. World-renowned scholars in cancer genetics and genomics of liver tumours, Professor René Bernards of The Netherlands Cancer Institute and Professor Jessica Zucman-Rossi of the Cordeliers Research Centre in France, shared their cutting-edge findings on ‘Unconventional Approaches to the Treatment of Cancer’ and ‘Early Mechanisms of Liver Oncogenesis’ respectively. Over 75 online participants including clinicians, academics and research postgraduate students joined the Seminar.
