HKU Medical Alumni Association (HKUMAA) held its 22nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Talk at the Faculty Boardroom and via Zoom on 6 September 2022.
During the meeting, Dr Matthew Tsui Sik-hon (徐錫漢) was re-elected as the President, while Dr Kevin Lau Chung-hang (劉仲恒) and Dr Libby Lee Ha-yun (李夏茵) were re-elected as the Vice-Presidents for the term 2022 – 2024. Dr Donald Li Kwok-tung (李國棟), Dr Flora Tsang Hau-fung (曾巧峯) and Dr Victor Yeung Hip-wo (楊協和) were elected/re-elected as members of the Executive Committee for the term 2022 – 2025.

After the AGM, Professor CS Lau, Dean of Medicine, delivered a captivating and instructive talk entitled ‘The Normal One’. Professor Lau shared his journey of becoming a rheumatologist and encouraged the alumni to stay positive and perseverant in the face of challenges and disappointment. Over 70 alumni, members of the Faculty and friends participated in the talk in person and via Zoom, and they got motivated by Professor Lau’s enlightening sharing.
