Held in Turkey this year, the August Meeting is one of the two annual general assemblies of the International Federation of Medical Students Association (IFMSA), uniting 1.3 million medical students from more than 140 countries. Delegates attended sessions to build their capacities, participated in exchange fairs to learn about cultures, observed plenaries to experience democratic decision-making processes and so much more. The Asian Medical Students’ Association Hong Kong (AMSAHK) sent a delegation representing the Hong Kong medical students' community on international platforms, to inspire others and be inspired, translating their international exposure into local actions.
